Known as the "Golden Bowl", Lusail Stadium is located in Lusail City, Qatar, with a capacity of 92,400 spectators. It is the core venue of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the first World Cup main stadium fully contracted by Chinese enterprises. Its iconic appearance is printed on Qatar’s official currency, making it a landmark mega project across the Middle East.
The building adopts a composite structure of massive reinforced concrete and long-span cable-membrane roof. Dense steel bars are arranged on beams, columns, bearing platforms and underground foundations, bringing extremely strict requirements for joint strength, corrosion resistance and construction efficiency.
