A shop-swaged splicing and anchorage system incorporates self-locating threaded ends for rapid field assembly with no torque requirement. The male and female coupler components maintain the full cross-sectional area of the reinforcing bar for improved performance.
The coupler threads are produced in a dedicated manufacturing facility with specialized equipment. This eliminates the need to thread the rebar on-site or in your workshop, while ensuring high-quality threads for a reliable mechanical connection system.
For applications where the bar cannot be rotated (e.g., hooked bars), a positional coupler can be used. The rotating stud engages with the female coupler component to complete the connection.
